Flood Relief

The unprecedented disaster caused by the recent Floods have caused major damage to people and property and thousands have been rendered homeless with no access to shelter, food, water & healthcare. In order to participate in the relief work and help alleviate the suffering, Scilife contributed by donating much needed medicines.

Furthermore, an Employee’s Flood Relief Fund was also created where employees voluntarily contributed creating a handsome amount which was used to purchase medicines and disposable syringes, etc., worth more than Rs.1,000,000 (Rupees One Million).

All the medicines and the disposable were delivered directly to the medical camps being run in the respective areas by well known and reputable institutions and NGO’s. The medicines were personally handed over to the in-charge Doctors.

The major areas where these medicines and surgical disposables were delivered were located at the most affected areas of Nowshera, Swat, Mardan, Sukkur and Dera Ghazi Khan to name a few. Medicines were also provided to Doctors, who were voluntarily working with the affected people at the affected sites as well as IDP camps.

In all the cases, Scilife Field Force was mobilized to ensure direct delivery to the medical professionals. In majority of cases, goods were hand-delivered to individual camps through the Scilife Field force ensuring delivery to genuine medical camps ensuring that these Medicines reached the true deserving people.

Scilife also contributed medicines to camps being run by reputable institutions like SIUT and by Doctor’s associations or individual Doctors.
