For the treatment of the following infections caused by pathogens e.g. Sepsis, meningitis, abdominal infections, infections of bones, joints, soft tissues and skin, Infections in patients with impaired defense mechanism, renal and urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, particularly pneumonia, ear, nose, and throat infections, genital infections including gonorrhea, preoperative prophylaxis of infections.
