INDICATIONS:

• Essential Hypertension.
• Patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on either monotherapy.
• Patients who are likely to need multiple drugs to achieve their blood pressure goal.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Amstan (Amlodipine + Valsartan) is a fixed combination of Amlodipine and Valsartan. Amlodipine contains the besylate salt of amlodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium-channel blocker (CCB). Valsartan is a nonpeptide, orally active and specific angiotensin II antagonist acting on the AT1 receptor subtype.

DOSAGE FORM:
The recommended dose of Amstan (Amlodipine + Valsartan) is one tablet per day for the following strengths:

– Tablet(Amlodipine 5mg + Valsartan 80mg)
– Tablet(Amlodipine 5mg + Valsartan 160mg)
– Tablet(Amlodipine10mg + Valsartan 160mg)
