INDICATIONS:
Pantoprazole Delayed-Release Tablets are indicated for:

• Short-Term Treatment of Erosive Esophagitis Associated With Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
• Maintenance of Healing Of Erosive Esophagitis.
• Pathological Hypersecretory Conditions Including Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.
• Eradication of Helicobacter Pylori (H. Pylori) in combination with appropriate antibiotic therapy in patients with H. Pylori associated ulcers.
• Prevention of gastroduodenal ulcers induced by non-selective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in patients at risk with a need for continuous NSAID treatment.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Pantoprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). Pantoprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. This medication relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. It helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus.
